Giving back

Love should reach beyond the app.

We want the good that grows through Blessed Union to reach the wider community. Our Christian faith calls us to love our neighbours through practical care, generosity and service.

10–15%

We commit to reinvesting 10–15% of our annual net profits back into the community through churches and/or charities.

Faith expressed in care

Following Jesus shapes how we build relationships and how we use what we have. Giving back is one way to put that conviction into practice: supporting people and communities beyond our own service.

A growing business brings responsibility as well as opportunity. We want generosity to be part of how Blessed Union grows, alongside the care we give to our members.

Through churches and charities

Our giving will support churches serving their neighbours and/or charities responding to needs in their communities. The aim is to help the people doing that work offer practical care and support.

We will share the organisations we support and the purpose of that support in our giving updates, as those decisions are confirmed.

How the commitment works

A share of profit

The 10–15% commitment applies to annual net profits: what remains after the costs of running Blessed Union, rather than total revenue. The amount available to give therefore depends on the business making a profit.

Clear updates

Once Blessed Union is profitable, we will publish a yearly giving report showing the amount given and the churches or charities supported. This page sets out our commitment; it does not present planned giving as money already distributed.

Part of our wider purpose

Giving back sits alongside our commitment to thoughtful introductions, mutual choice and free conversation for eligible connections. We want the way we serve members and the way we support the community to reflect the same Christian care.
