1. Operator and agreement

Southern Wolf, a sole trader trading as Blessed Union, New Zealand.

Email: [email protected]. Signed-in members can also use Contact support.

Do not email passwords, verification codes, identity images or document numbers. We may ask for proportionate account-ownership information before acting on a private request.

These terms cover the Blessed Union website and member services. Read them with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines. Creating and using a member account means agreeing to these terms. If you do not agree, do not register; you can stop using the service and request account deletion.

2. Christian purpose and adult eligibility

The service is for adults aged 18 or older. Its discovery membership is for single Christian men and women seeking marriage to one another. You make your own declarations about age, relationship status, faith and intentions and must keep them accurate. We do not certify anyone’s faith, spiritual maturity or suitability.

Use your own identity, have legal capacity to agree to these terms and meet the account requirements shown during setup. Do not register children, impersonate another person or evade a restriction. Account creation does not grant verification, discovery or conversation rights.

3. Account security and verification

Registration is open to adults aged 18 and over and requires email confirmation before the first sign-in. Keep sign-in details private, provide accurate information and contact support if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for your own use of the account, rather than automatically liable for every action resulting from a breach outside your control.

Confirmed email, phone confirmation, your private birth date and adult declaration, profile and approved photo form the required member setup. Follow the verification steps shown in your account; creating an account or confirming a phone alone does not grant discovery or conversation access. Conversation also requires mutual choice and ordinary account eligibility.

After phone confirmation, you can choose the free Didit ID or passport and selfie check when available. The separate optional human Photo checked review compares private submitted images with your approved profile photo. Both checks are free for members regardless of subscription, and optional checks are separate from admission. Didit approval does not automatically earn a Photo checked badge.

Email, phone possession, a document/selfie result and a Photo checked badge are distinct, limited checks. They do not prove safety, sincerity, relationship status, faith or divine approval. Submit identity images only through the named private verification flow, never email, support or member chat. Ask support for help with an inaccessible step or incorrect detail.

Verification text messages

When you tick the SMS consent box and request a code, Blessed Union uses Twilio Verify to send a transactional text to the mobile number you entered. This programme is for phone confirmation, not advertising. Each request may generate a text; we do not send scheduled marketing texts through this programme. Standard message and data rates may apply.

For help, contact [email protected] or use Support. To stop these texts, stop requesting codes; where the sender accepts replies, you can also reply STOP. Contact support if unwanted codes continue or you cannot complete phone confirmation. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We record the number, accepted notice version and consent time to document your request. Our Privacy Policy explains account data and provider processing. SMS consent does not authorise marketing or replace the other member requirements.

5. Member conduct and safety

Treat people with dignity. Do not harass, threaten, stalk, coerce, scam, solicit money, distribute sexual or exploitative material, or publish another person’s private information. Do not post deceptive profiles, steal content, send malicious files, scrape member data, automate unsolicited contact or bypass safety controls.

Use member report and block controls for concerns about another member. Support handles account problems and cannot grant another person’s consent. This service and its inbox are not emergency services. In immediate danger, contact your local emergency service.

Prayer garden and community care

Eligible members can share prayer requests and encouragement. Participation is voluntary and never creates an obligation to reply, disclose more, pray publicly or begin private contact. Respect author choices, blocks and closed encouragement. Authors alone decide whether to describe a request as answered; waiting or hardship is not evidence of deficient faith.

Do not publish another person’s identifying information, request money, solicit unwanted contact, or offer prayer as a substitute for urgent professional help. Anonymous contributions remain identifiable to authorised safety staff. Report concerning content using the report action; an urgent flag prioritises the report but does not promise continuous monitoring or immediate response. We may hide content or restrict participation proportionately while reviewing a concern. Support remains available to request review.

6. Content ownership and limited service permission

You keep ownership of your content and must have permission to upload it. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to operate your chosen features, deliver it to intended recipients, moderate concerns and meet lawful obligations. This does not permit identity images to be used in advertising or public profiles.

This service permission does not include selling your content, training AI models on it, or using private communications for advertising profiles. Blessed Union has opted out of Didit’s model-improvement programme; automated verification and necessary fraud/security processing still operate. Our data-use commitment explains the scope and the limits of that opt-out.

Removing content or completing account deletion ends ordinary display and service use, subject to necessary backup handling and limited safety/legal retention explained in Privacy. Other people may have copied content you shared; we cannot retrieve independent copies. The site’s original design and materials remain their owners’ property.

7. Service availability, prices and changes

Features may be temporarily unavailable or changed as problems are resolved. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or a particular relationship outcome. Report errors through support.

One optional Premium membership is NZ$10 per week, NZ$29 per month or NZ$199 per year. Each option is charged upfront for its whole billing period; the yearly option is a single NZ$199 payment, not monthly instalments. These are total prices in New Zealand dollars, including any applicable GST, with no extra checkout tax or free trial. Premium includes all eligible incoming Likes in Who liked you, searches of visible profile text and interests, discreet discovery, up to twelve photos, unlimited eligible discovery selections and revisiting passed profiles. Free members can reveal one new Like every seven days, starting from a successful reveal; unused reveals do not accumulate. Previously revealed Likes stay available while current eligibility, privacy and connection status allow. Unlimited discovery removes the daily selection cap; it does not guarantee new profiles or remove Like limits and abuse controls. Revisited profiles must still meet current eligibility, privacy and mutual preferences, and blocks in either direction prevent access. Exploring another location is still being prepared and is not currently available. The Membership page shows purchase availability and the price before checkout.

Free daily discovery, mutual connections, eligible mutual conversation and essential safety controls remain free. Membership does not bypass account requirements or promise incoming Likes, a connection or a relationship. Existing free filters and essential privacy controls remain available. Discreet discovery, once chosen, stays on after paid access expires until you turn it off; expiry stops new paid searches.

When Premium checkout is available, you approve the subscription in PayPal’s payment window and return to Blessed Union. Accepting the recurring charge and completing PayPal approval authorises payment and automatic renewal at the selected interval until cancelled. Paid access begins after payment is confirmed. Accepting these website terms or viewing a plan alone does not authorise a charge. An existing Stripe subscription, if present, has a separate Manage existing subscription action; this does not open new Stripe purchases.

Cancel before the next renewal using Cancel renewal on Membership and confirm the cancellation. Future renewals stop once cancellation is confirmed; verified paid access continues through its end date. Closing an unfinished PayPal approval window does not confirm cancellation: resume it or contact support. Pausing discovery does not cancel billing. Completed account deletion stops the subscription; if deletion cannot finish, contact support so renewal can be stopped and deletion completed. Cancellation or deletion does not automatically refund earlier payments.

For a duplicate or unauthorised charge, service problem or refund request, contact [email protected]. We consider the circumstances and provide remedies required by law; your Consumer Guarantees Act and other mandatory rights remain. A change of mind alone does not normally result in a refund. Full refunds or payment disputes can suspend the affected paid access while the issue is resolved; free account and safety controls remain subject to ordinary account rules. Your internet/mobile provider may charge for connectivity.

Material changes to these terms will identify an effective date, with reasonable advance notice where practicable. Changes to an existing subscription price require advance notice before a renewal at the new price and an opportunity to cancel. Urgent safety/legal changes may take effect sooner. You can stop using the service and request deletion if you do not accept a change. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights.

8. Moderation, restrictions and review

We may restrict content or accounts where reasonably necessary to address a breach, suspected fraud, an age/identity concern, a safety risk or legal obligation. Action should be proportionate. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and review route without disclosing another person’s private information or compromising an investigation. Urgent risk may require action before a reply.

Ask support to review an account decision. Verification appeals use the verification flow where available. We cannot promise reinstatement or disclose confidential reports. Do not create replacement accounts to evade a restriction.

9. Leaving and account data

Settings provides discovery pause, account export and deletion. Export/deletion require password reauthentication. Pausing differs from deleting. Completed deletion removes or anonymises ordinary member-facing account data and cannot be reversed through normal controls. Read the confirmation before proceeding.

Limited report-linked or moderation evidence may be retained separately for justified safety/legal purposes. Backup copies follow their retention cycle. Privacy explains these exceptions; we do not promise immediate deletion of every copy. If you cannot sign in, contact support.

10. Consumer rights, responsibility and disputes

Nothing here excludes or limits rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under New Zealand’s Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, Fair Trading Act 1986 and Privacy Act 2020. Using this service does not waive those rights.

We remain responsible for our acts and omissions as required by law. We do not guarantee members’ conduct or relationship outcomes. These terms impose no blanket liability waiver, automatic indemnity or compulsory private arbitration.

Contact support so we can try to resolve a concern. New Zealand law governs these terms, subject to mandatory protections where you live. You may approach a regulator, tribunal or court with lawful jurisdiction.
